Solar Energy – Parts for solar thermal/hot water system (Enerworks)

This is part 2 of a tour with detailed explanation of a residential solar thermal/solar hot water heater system. Here I do into detail on various parts/components including the controller, temperature sensors, expansion tanks, flow meter, bypass valve assembly and stagnation control methods like vacation bypass valves, heat dump radiator, and covering the collector with a tarp. The system is the Enerworks one. It’s installed in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, so cold climate issues apply. The solar panels or collectors are flat plate type. The solar tank and the natural gas backup tank are shown, as well as the heat exchanger and all piping. How the solar energy from the sun heats the absorber in the collector and then the food grade propylene glycol (antifreeze) and water mix is also covered. Israel targets Palestinian solar panels in bid for West Bank dominance

Israel has refused to co-operate with the UN’s fact-finding mission, expected to investigate Israeli settlements in the West Bank. It comes after the organization authorized the probe on Thursday. As RT’s Paula Slier reports, Israel shows little sign of stopping its policy of expansion in the area. RT on Twitter twitter.com RT on Facebook www.facebook.com

Part 2 Of 5 120 watt Solar PANELS Grid -Tie on My Little Barn Tied into the House Grid

Part 2 Some Of the Videos Are For My Own Log Of what power they are doing and if i can inprove in anyway.. But i do share Becouse they may Help in some small way . This set is Only 5 solar panels that are on the small Barn I will take Video of the Four solar panels on the Garage they are Grid tie to I dont Charge Back up Batteries at this time Only Grid tie. I may add some 12 volt deep Cycle Batteries doen the road For Back up power Becouse when the power Goes Out I am Not Making Power they are Just dead Heading and i am Not Making Power. When this Happends The Grid tie Shouts Down in Isalates itself I have A main Breaker 240 volt in the Garage to Shout down for extra Safty so No power Feeds threw the Line. But the Grid Tie inverter will block this itself If i am Not Home and Power Goes Out Its A safty thing All the 5 pv Solar panels are B-Grade Blemished solar panels and they work over spec I get More Power then Rated a Mid Day when Sun is at its Highest Point in the Sky Some Free Help Links www.solarcells101.com To Buy b-Grade solar panels, or B-Grade solar cells, Broken or chiped I have them at www.solarcells101.com Or go to My other store at solarcells101.ecrater.com I Hope you Injoyed My DIY Solar Videos Plese Take the Time to share with Others FaceBook, +1 OR ANYOTHER Thanks, David www.solarcells101.com

Home Solar Power System (Photovoltaic System).flv

adf.ly q.gs Solar power system is the conversion of sunlight into electricity, either directly using photovoltaics (PV), or indirectly using concentrated solar power (CSP). Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam. Photovoltaics convert light into electric current using the photoelectric effect. A typical home solar power system comprises a solar panel, solar controller, batteries, DC loads, DC-AC solar inverter, AC loads, and can connect with the power-grid. In the daytime, the solar panel collects the solar energy which is converted to electric energy, solar controller controls the energy by MPPT technology to drive the solar inverter and DC loads, and charges the batteries as floating charge.
