DIY Solar Panels – Steps Towards Building a Solar Panel
www.SolarEnergyGuide.net – DIY Solar Panels – Steps Towards Building a Solar Panel If you are planning to build a DIY solar panel, the first step is to get yourself a good guide with plans from online retailers and start making one. You can go green while saving electricity at the same time without having to buy an expensive wind generator. You will be able to get all the materials needed plus the plans for less than 0. An average Joe can make his own 1000W solar panel. Why not make one for yourself, too? You can even get your family in on it and make it a fun family project. To get you started, you will first need the plans or the blueprint. Find a good place to work in. A regular garage will do. You do not need to get special tools. You can work with the simple tools that you already have. It would be great to have an extra pair of hands. Look at the plans to find out what you need for the project. It should include a Direct Current (DC) motor. This will serve as your power generator. As the blades of your turbine spin, they turn the DC motor on which would then produce electricity. Order the motor first for it takes a number of days to get it. This should not cause you much delay because you can use this time to start working on the other sections. You can already fashion the blades of your turbine. Wood is the preferred material for blades especially when making bigger machines. However, should you opt to, you can also use PVC. If you intend to work with wood, make …

Home Made Inflatable Solar Water Heater
Home made 10′ x 3′ solar water bag system for heating pools. It’s a stackable low cost inflatable solar panel system for heating pools without the need for a perminant structure, permits or home owner association approvals. It steals some of the water from a pool jet, heats in the sun and puts back into the pool. You can make one bag in an evening out of a commonly available heavy black plastic sheet and some common PVC parts that connect to garden hoses and low cost garden hose valves.
Solar Energy – Parts for solar thermal/hot water system (Enerworks)
This is part 2 of a tour with detailed explanation of a residential solar thermal/solar hot water heater system. Here I do into detail on various parts/components including the controller, temperature sensors, expansion tanks, flow meter, bypass valve assembly and stagnation control methods like vacation bypass valves, heat dump radiator, and covering the collector with a tarp. The system is the Enerworks one. It’s installed in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, so cold climate issues apply. The solar panels or collectors are flat plate type. The solar tank and the natural gas backup tank are shown, as well as the heat exchanger and all piping. How the solar energy from the sun heats the absorber in the collector and then the food grade propylene glycol (antifreeze) and water mix is also covered. Portable DIY Solar Water Heater
An innovation aimed to reduce large scale deforestation for cooking requirement in the rural areas of the world. Our innovation deals to create potable water for daily cooking requirement at around 50-60C. This is simplest forms of DIY work, with a insulted container and solar heating element only. Our early results are astounding, no external plumbing requirements, designed in the range of 20-30 litres of hot water production to reduce the heating load to a very large extent, which automatically cuts down the energy requirement substantially. A pure DIY work for the larger mass of the world. This can be assembled by any one with ease. We shall post the details of construction pretty soon.
CORRUGATED SOLAR FORCED AIR PASSIVE HEATER FIGHT HIGH HEATING OIL GREAT DEPRESSION 2
FIGHT HIGH HEATING OIL prices and allow to save money for other things like paying your mortgage or refinancing your home. Hope this helps:-) Note: Look T THE VIDEO RESPONSES THEY ARE VERY GOOD! This is a prototype easy to build rooftop forced air heater that produces 45 degree increases at a high CFM CFPM rate. This one is made out of cardboard. A real one can be made out of weather proof material COROPLAST. The name Coroplast applies to a wide range of extruded corrugated plastic sheet products based on polypropylene copolymers. The natural polymer is chemically inert and is generally considered non-toxic and safe for use in contact with food. The base resin meets FDA requirements as listed in Food Additive Regulation Title 21, Section 177.1520(c), Item 1.1, covering food contact uses. www.greenpowerscience.com
