find any books by Hugh Piggott.
he shows how to build one with magnets and magnet wire.

I like the idea of using solar technology to free yourself from the monopolized power companies and to be more self-sufficient. however, for you people who think that you are saving the planet and/or freeing us from fossil fuels I say this. Are you aware of the massive amount of fossil fuels necessary to mine copper? Are you aware that plastic can not exist without oil? Are you aware of the massive amount of fossil fuels needed to bring table salt to every home in the world? Oil is NEEDED.

  8. lstoc12873 says:

yes but what about electric engines douche? eventually there wont be a need for AS MUCH oil because all this stuff runs off other renewable energies, not running off materials that it is made out of

    a lot

I built my own Solar Panels for under $100 and a Solar Water Heater for UNDER $10 that are currently powering my 1700 Square Foot home! I used the simple plans at:

after this sets out in the sun for a day, doesn’t it stop working because the copper oxidizes and gets coated to block out the sun.

  12. ManilaCoolCat says:

Remember, if you do this experiment, copper is also toxic, so make sure you don’t inhale the fumes when you heat the sheet of copper on the stove. It would also be much safer to use a respirator while doing this.

lol you are an oil addicted
free energy ftw nikola tesla ;P will win

thats a battery not a solar cell

What else should you use then copper???

    good video,thank you

o.k. Einstein. hello how many of these things would it take to run an electric stove for the amount of time it takes to blacken the copper haha hilarious

thats a battery put moore salt you will get more energy

Though I love them, I am reminded of how usesless is the Hot Air Balloon.

This device, unless you show a watt from all that, is absolute crap. It can’t even get a glow from an LED.

Cool for an Elementary school class.

Though I do like the science involved so I guess it could be justified as an experiment

    But production? I call CRAP.

i agree nice for a project but to use it serious it doesnt comein handy

i have a real solar panel that you can switch from 12 to 9 to 6 to 3 volts. it can make any thing work and it is portable and fun!!!
